Dear Parents,
I hope all of you are having a great 2018 and are looking forward to a enjoyable summer vacation. I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the parents who helped make last football season such a success and to update you on some changes to this off season, specifically with 7th and 8th grade spring flag football.
Our school has had to make several facility changes for the current spring sports season and because of this we will not be able to host a Flag Football League like we did last year. I reached out to other schools to see if they would be interested in hosting and none of them could either. I am encouraged by the number of middle schools kids we have participating in spring sports and I don’t feel that not having flag football this season will negatively affect our upcoming season. I believe that it is so important for kids to be involved with as many different sports/activities they can be, so what they may be missing from football this spring, they will more than make up for if they are involved in other Fair Grove activities.
Thank you for all the support for starting programs like our Flag Football League and it is my hope to pick this back up next year when we have access to more space on campus. If you have any questions please feel free to email or call me anytime.
