Fair Grove Elementary Grandparents Day is next Friday, September 14th! K-4th Grades!
Pre-Registration forms MUST be filled out by student’s parents prior to Grandparents Day.
Grandparents Arrival and Departure are as follows:
Kindergarten & 1st grade: Arrive 9:00am Depart 11:00am
2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade: Arrive 12:20pm Depart 2:25pm
Parking: Grandparents should park in the front parking lot, back lot behind the elementary gym,
or in the middle school lot. Someone will be available to assist with parking.
Check-in: There will be check-in tables at all entrances. Please check-in as you arrive and you will receive a visitor’s pass. Please enter through main entrance, LE gym entrance, and 4th grade hall entrance.
Departure: We highly suggest that your child remain at school after the Grandparent’s Day festivities;
however, if a grandparent is planning on taking a child home with them after Grandparent’s Day, please make sure that you mark so on the pre-registration sheet. Please note that your child will be counted absent for the remainder of the day after they are checked out by the grandparent. Children will not be allowed to leave with a grandparent, even if they are on the emergency check out unless parents are notified by phone or sign Grandparents Day form. Wednesday Reminders:
Tomorrow is late start Wednesday.
Students may be dropped off in the elementary library beginning at 7am.
Buses will run 20 minutes later than normal.
Classes will begin at 8:24am

Just a reminder that this Friday the 24th of August is Picture Day. Please use the FG Elementary School LifeTouch job number for your elementary school child if you order on line.
REMINDER: We are still doing late start Wednesdays this year with buses running a bit later and school starting at 8:24 a.m.
Just a reminder, Mighty Mite football and cheerleading registration is Wednesday August 22nd and Thursday August 23rd from 6:45-8:30 in the middle school commons.
School Picture Day is this Friday, August 24th! Picture packets will go home today. Please fill those packets out and return to your child's teacher. Reminder: The online ordering code on the elementary packet is only for the elementary.

Mrs. Highfill's Class will be doing Meet The Teacher tomorrow night from 4:30-6:00 due to a family funeral. She will be available to meet her students during that time only. This message only pertains to Mrs.Highfill's students.
We're a week away from Meet the Teacher Night and we are so excited! Join us on Tuesday, August 14th from 5-7pm. Students may bring their school supplies to their classroom that night.
We are excited for class placement! You will find your 2018-19 class placement in LUMEN after you complete your enrollment. Classes are being updated daily, so please check LUMEN frequently for your 2018-19 teacher placement.
