Christian Overstreet Promoted to Fair Grove High School Principal

The Fair Grove R-X School District (FGS) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Christian Overstreet to the high school principal position beginning the 2022-2023 school year. Mr. Overstreet will be filling the position of Mr. Chris Stallings, who has been promoted to the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning. 


Mr.Overstreet currently serves as the Fair Grove Assistant High School  Principal and FGS Athletic Director, where he has led for the past seven years.  In addition, Mr.Overstreet has served as the head high school baseball coach for the past ten years. Prior to these roles, Mr. Overstreet worked as a middle school response to intervention instructor, middle school health  teacher, and elementary physical education teacher.  

Mr. Overstreet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from Missouri State University, a  Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University, and is currently working  towards a Doctoral Degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University.  

"It has been a tremendous honor to work as the assistant high school principal and athletic director for  the last seven years. During that time, we are very proud of the successes we have had academically and  athletically. We have some of the best coaches and student-athletes around and the relationships I have  built with those individuals have made a lasting impact on me. I am excited and humbled to be given the opportunity to take over as the high school principal. We have a tremendous group of teachers who are passionate about student learning and building positive student relationships. I look forward to working  with the school community as we continue to strive for excellence," Mr. Christian Overstreet, stated. 

Mr. Overstreet’s enthusiasm, commitment to kids, and proven leadership abilities will serve him well as  he leads Fair Grove High School in preparing students to be success ready graduates.
