We had an AWESOME Tuesday at FGMS! On this Teacher Proud Tuesday we want to recognize two fantastic teachers. Mrs. Ray and Mrs. White are both Fair Grove Alumni and have chosen to spend each day with our younger middle level students.
Mrs. Ray has been a part of the FGMS team for many years and she teaches 5th Grade Writing and 6th Grade Reading. She consistently creates opportunities for her students to express themselves through creative writing and encourages our students to grow their love of writing each day.
Mrs. White joined our team a couple of years ago and has really grown our 5th Grade Reading program. Over the last two years, she has used her knowledge of Reading instruction to create an environment where our younger students enjoy reading and are willing to challenge themselves to grow their reading ability.
We truly appreciate all that Mrs. Ray and Mrs. White do for our young middle school students and we are proud to have them as part of our FGMS Family!
The 5th Grade music performance of "Destination: America" was a smashing success! Many thanks to Mrs. Harmon for all of her hard work with these awesome kids!

Reminder that school will be in session for a snow make-up day tomorrow, Mon., Feb. 28th. Two of the three snow days from this past week (Feb. 23 & 24) will be made up on Mon., Mar. 7th and Mon., Mar. 21st. The Feb. 25th snow make-up date is still TBD.
