It was a great time tonight at Incredible Pizza. Thanks again to our FG Booster Club and QB Club. We are proud of all of our student athletes and appreciate the support of our FGMS parents and community.
Reminder: We will have our FGMS Athletic Celebration trip tonight. The bus leaves from the middle school at 5:00 PM.

Dear FGMS Parents,
In lieu of the FGMS evening awards ceremony originally scheduled for May 9th, the Middle School Recognition and Awards Assembly will be held from 9:00AM-10:00AM on May 16th in the High School Gym. We feel it is important for our entire student body to have the opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of their peers. By celebrating this event during regular school hours, all of our award winners will be able to attend. We would like to encourage our middle school parents to attend. You will be notified through email, if your student will be recognized with an award during our assembly on May 16th.
We realize it may be difficult for our 8th grade parents to attend both our promotion ceremony and the awards assembly. Therefore, we will recognize our 8th grade student award winners during the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony on May 15th at 9:00 AM in the Upper Elementary Gym. Refreshments will be provided after the ceremony, and our students will depart for their annual field trip at approximately 10:00 AM. These kids will also be recognized in front of their middle school peers during the Recognition and Awards Assembly on the last day of school.

MAP Testing begins the week of Tuesday, April 24 and runs through Friday May 4th. Testing will run 1st - 4th hours (8-11:48 M, T, Th & Fr; 8:24-11:53 Wed.)
Please make sure your child/children gets plenty of rest the night before and eats a healthy breakfast each morning. If at all possible, we request that you refrain from picking up your child during these testing hours. Also, please make sure you child arrives to school no later 7:50 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday and no later than 8:15 on Wednesday.
We hope testing goes well for your child/children as this school year is quickly coming to a close. Thank you for your support.

Fair Grove 7th & 8th gr. FCA students that have signed up for the Springfield Cardinals will be taking a bus from Fair grove leaving at 11:15 this Saturday, April 14th to go to Hammons Field. There will be a pre-game show from 12-1:30, we will then eat lunch at the ball park (already paid for), and then watch the game which starts at 2:15. We don't know the exact time we will return to the school, but it should be around 5:45 or so. Please see the attached the flyer for further details.
Thursday, April 12 will be the Middle School's annual Spring Bash/Dance Middle School Social Event.
5th/6th Grade - immediately after school from 3:00 - 4:30. Enjoy fun and games, food, cotton candy and more.
7th/8th Grade - 5:30 - 7:00 in the FEMA. Dancing, snacks, cotton candy, basketball... and more.
Tickets are $5 each and include all food/activities. Tickets will be sold during lunch Monday - Thursday. Our theme this year is retro. Feel free to dress like your favorite decade.
