Due to a change in state law, all volunteers or chaperones who could be left alone with a single child for school events will be required to complete a fingerprint background check. This background check will be conducted by the Missouri Highway Patrol and is good for 4 years. The cost of the background check is approximately $42 and this cost is the responsibility of the volunteer. The volunteer must come into the Central Office to obtain the necessary paperwork.
