On this awesome Tuesday we want to recognize two of our FGMS superstar teachers.
Ms. Orr is in her 5th year teaching in our Math department. She is currently teaching 7th and 8th grade Math and Algebra. Ms. Orr coaches softball in the spring and volunteers her time supporting our FGMS students throughout the year. We are thankful for Ms. Orr and her amazing attitude and determination to see our students achieve their potential.
Mrs. Fender is in her 2nd year at FGMS after beginning her career in Branson schools. Mrs. Fender has quickly become one of our most knowledgeable and creative teachers. Mrs. Fender teaches 6th grade Science and Keyboarding. Her creativity and positive attitude create an atmosphere where our students are motivated and engaged in powerful learning. Thank you Mrs. Fender for your dedication to our students and school!
A message from Officer Bond: It was brought to our attention that an anonymous Instagram Account referencing Fair Grove School was posting vaguely threatening statements and friending some of our students. After a thorough investigation alongside the Fair Grove Police Department and Missouri Highway Patrol it was determined that this account and message is meant for a Fair Grove School in North Carolina and is in no way connected to our school. There is no threat to our school or community whatsoever.

The music program scheduled this evening for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students in Mrs. Harmon's classes has been canceled due to attendance issues. We apologize for the late notice. The program for the 6th and 7th graders will not be rescheduled. However, the 5th grade performance will take place on Monday, December 20th, during 7th hour (2:00-2:50). This is an official Fair Grove R-X School District message: We have become aware of a troubling post that has been shared widely this week on the social media platform TikTok as well as others like Instagram and Facebook. Student and staff safety is our primary concern. Out of an abundance of caution, our school resource/police officer is working with the local Police Department to ensure a safe and secure environment for our students. We will have additional security in place in each building tomorrow morning.
Clad in pajamas, the talented ukulele players led by Mrs. Harmon once again came to the office to spread Christmas cheer!
Little Caesars pizza is coming to the middle school on Thursday, December 16th!

Today we want to recognize one of our awesome middle school teachers from our English/Language Arts Department. Mrs. Kayla Holt is in her 2nd year at FGMS after teaching multiple years in a neighboring district. She brings enthusiasm, amazing creativity, a passion for teaching, and a love for kids. Mrs. Holt and her family live in Fair Grove, and they are huge supporters of all our Fair Grove Eagles. Thank you Mrs. Holt for your commitment to Fair Grove and our middle school students. You are AWESOME!
Due to a bus driver shortage, beginning January 3rd all Fair Grove R-X School District bus routes will have changes made to them. Route numbers will change and bus numbers will not be the route numbers (riders will reference the "RT" placard). All current riders' parents/guardians will be sent stop information including pick up and drop off times on December 16th.
