
The high school color guard will be hosting a middle school clinic from February 8-11. Any 6th - 8th-grade student is welcome to attend. You'll learn the basics of color guard and will learn choreography to Arabian Nights from Aladdin. The cost is $20 and that includes a t-shirt and pizza party. Those who attend the clinic will perform at the high school's boys basketball game on Feb. 11.

The Booster Club is SO proud that our boys soccer team is playing in sectionals this Saturday. To give everyone the opportunity to go support them, we have decided to **POSTPONE** the cornhole tournament. We will keep everyone posted on a reschedule date.

The boy's soccer team will be playing at Laquey HS this Saturday for sectionals against the Laquey Hornets. The game time has been set for 2:00pm.


Student council is excited to announce the beginning of a Thanksgiving food drive for families in our community. Not only is this a food drive, but it is a MASSIVE competition amongst 8th hour classes! The winning class will receive donuts AND the teacher of that class will get to choose two students to pie in the face at an assembly, in front of the whole school.


The Middle School Honor Choir will have its first meeting after school tomorrow, November 11th, until 4:30 in Mrs. Harmon's room and will meet weekly thereafter on Thursdays. It is open to any 5th or 6th grade student who would like to participate.


This Thursday, Nov. 11th, FG School will be hosting FG Veterans for BREAKFAST @ 8:00am and a program @ 9:00am. The program is open to all community members. More info: https://www.fairgroveschools.net/article/576425


We have an additional bus change this afternoon: Routes 4 & 11 will be combined this afternoon. So on theses two routes, children's arrival home time might vary slightly from a normal day.

Due to a driver shortage and having to double up a route, Bus #2 students will arrive home about 10-15 minutes later than normal this afternoon.


PTO will be having the Undie 500 this Thursday and Friday morning during drop off. This benefits Heart2Heart and school nurses. Parents are welcome to send things with bus riders as well.


We will have a PK-12th grade Red, White and Blue Spirit Day this Friday, Nov. 5th.
Bring $1 to support local veterans and active duty military. All donations will be given to local post 38 during our assembly on Nov. 11th


On this awesome Tuesday morning I want to recognize Mrs. Bailey Calloway. Mrs. Calloway is our FGMS 6th and 7th grade Math teacher. She has been a part of our team for 3 years and has made a huge impact on our Math department and our entire building. We appreciate her professionalism and her willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that her students are given every opportunity to be successful in the math classroom. From the Bishop's Opening to the King's Gambit, our chess club warriors played fiercely in their first tournament of the year and we couldn't be more proud of these kids and their fearless leader, Mr. Van Cleave!

The Fair Grove PTO will be selling popcorn to students and staff during lunch next week on October 28th and 29th! Each bag will cost $1.

On this awesome Tuesday we want to recognize Mrs. Green for her continued commitment to our Fair Grove students. Mrs. Green is currently in her 14th year teaching and 10th year at FGMS. Along with teaching, she coaches middle school and high school girl's basketball and is our middle school NJHS sponsor. We appreciate her passion for teaching and coaching at the middle school level and her ability to reach all students with her caring and genuine teaching style. Mrs. Green, thank you for all you do for our Fair Grove students!


Calling all middle school art enthusiasts and paintbrush wielders! Mrs. Hammers will be hosting Art Club on Wednesdays from 3:50-4:30 starting next week, October 20th, in her room! Students must be picked up promptly after they are released.


School picture makeup and retake day will be next Thursday, October 21st. Parents wishing a retake/redo can log into their Jostens account and sign up using the link as shown. If your student missed picture day altogether, there is no need to complete this step.
